I bought my father a 20.00 gift certificate for the pub and he went in for lunch one day ordering a soup & sandwich. when he went to pay with the certificate he was told by the bartender,server and manager that it was policy to not give money back on the certificate, so his 8.00 lunch was going to cost him the full 20.00 dollars. he made a stink and got his change but he will no longer go back there, he is a pensioner and on a fixed income. pretty lousy way to operate.
